Hi! I'm TIM

Temporarily Interrupting Mindsets

Comedy. Magic. Perspective.

(for people who carry a lot)

I’m a keynote speaker and entertainer who uses humor, visual storytelling, and well-timed moments of surprise to help people reset their focus and show up better for their teams, their work, and the people they go home to.

For more than three decades, I’ve worked in one business: attention.

How to earn it.
How to hold it.
And how to use it to leave people lighter than when they arrived.

How it Started

My career started early.

At 13, a magician at Disneyland handed me a disappearing sponge ball trick and that was it.

A few years later, I was performing professionally at a small theme park in Minnesota, doing multiple shows a day and learning quickly how to read rooms, adapt on the fly, and connect with people from every background.

That path eventually led to national stages, fill-in spots for Las Vegas headliners, and my own room at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay. I later joined the production Amazed at Planet Hollywood, refining the timing and discipline that come from performing where every second matters.

But whether the room was small or the stage was big, one thing stayed consistent:

When people laugh, they open up.

And when they open up, real shifts can happen.

What I Do now

Today my work focuses on three experiences, each designed for a different kind of event outcome.

Keynotes

My signature keynote, Look for the Good: It Makes Today Better, helps teams understand how attention shapes communication, leadership, and workplace culture.

Blending humor, storytelling, and visual demonstrations, the keynote shows how small moments influence the tone of the day and how shifting attention can reset the moment before negativity spreads.

ENTERTAINMENT

The Keep It Funny Experience brings the pacing, polish, and energy of a Las Vegas-style show to corporate and conference audiences clean, interactive, and designed to bring a room together through shared laughter.

Each experience is different by design, but they share the same foundation:

Attention used intentionally.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

The “G.A.B.E.: Putting the Good To Work” breakout turns the keynote insight into daily behavior.

Using the framework Gratitude • Attitude • Behavior • Environment, participants practice simple ways to catch reactions earlier, reset difficult moments, and respond with greater clarity under pressure.

Rather than revisiting the keynote content, the session focuses on practical application through real workplace scenarios like meetings, emails, customer interactions, and time-pressure situations.

Teams leave with shared language, simple reset tools, and small habits that help reinforce the keynote long after the event ends.

Why It Matters

People don’t usually remember every joke or illusion.

They remember how they felt.

My goal, whether I’m speaking, teaching, or performing, is simple:

Help people leave a little steadier, a little clearer, and a little lighter than when they walked in.

If that sounds like the kind of experience you want for your audience, I’d love to help create it with you.
